baseline - one statement. one question.
series: baseline | one statement. one question. one prayer. one price.
in starting to write this blog, there are two items i want to address first and foremost: your surroundings and where you are relative to God. i call this establishing a baseline.
we will address where you are relative to God first.
one statement
i like talking to individuals alone. there is a vulnerability that a creature will only reveal to me when speaking in private.
universally, across the board, male or female, twenty or forty, financially incredibly wealthy or not, there is one statement i hear all the time.
“i am tired.”
it appears that quite a few folks in america feel incredibly mentally and emotionally drained, but individuals are hiding their exhaustion.
one question
and again, no matter what race, nationality, gender, age, or financial position, the one question i am frequently asked when talking to a hurting person is the following:
“where is He?”
one prayer
i introduce the first case study to you. by case study, i mean real life example.
case study #1
scenario assessment: priceless

i am going to share with you the exact prayer i said to God.
it is not a prayer asking for a home, job, straight a’s on exams, a spouse, money, vacation, a bunch of materialistic items i do not really need…
this is the prayer that was accepted of me.
“i’ll be whoever You want me to be.”
this is the prayer God answered.
this is when He came for me full force.
and He bound Himself to me and me to Him.
one price
and the price to be with God is one price. all real children of God pay it. there exists neither a shortcut nor bypass.
we will expound on the cost to follow Jesus in another series.
“so likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.” (luke 14:33)
so in short, i say to you what the price is.
the price is
your free will.

daughter of God | sister of Christ
i pursue His voice in real time and do what i have to do, lose what i must lose, to keep it coming.
